At Miramonte Water Polo Club, we currently offer two competitive girls teams — 16U and 18U — providing athletes with a structured, four-year development pathway designed to prepare them for success at the collegiate and international levels.
Our 16U program lays the groundwork with a focus on technique, tactical understanding, and team-centered play, while the 18U program builds on that foundation with advanced movement, game intelligence, and the refined execution of our system. Together, these programs represent a comprehensive journey — one that develops confident, skilled, and mentally tough players ready to lead in the pool and beyond.

Designed for high school freshmen and sophomores, our 16U program is where the next generation of Miramonte athletes sharpen their game and embrace the values that define our club. What sets Miramonte apart is our philosophy: we don’t just teach water polo — we teach how to play the right way. That means a disciplined focus on technique, a deep understanding of our system and scheme, and a commitment to team-first, intelligent play.
Here, athletes develop more than just skills — they learn to compete with purpose, prepare like champions, and play the game with integrity, grit, and precision. We’re building complete players who embody the Miramonte standard — in the water and beyond.

Our 18U program brings together high school juniors and seniors ready to elevate their game to the next level. Building on the strong foundation developed at 16U, this program dives deeper into the advanced movements, reads, and nuances of the Miramonte system — all with a clear focus: preparing athletes for the demands of collegiate water polo.
Here, players refine their technique, develop tactical awareness, and master the details that separate good teams from great ones. We challenge our athletes to lead with confidence, think critically in high-pressure moments, and execute our scheme with precision and purpose.
At Miramonte, we take pride in developing complete players — athletes who are technically sound, tactically sharp, and fully prepared to succeed at the next level.
